On March 3rd 2016 the Australia and New Zealand Chapter of the Humanistic Management Network together with the Leadership Lab of the University of Adelaide invite you to the next workshop with Adelaide Business School’s esteemed Prof. Petrina Coventry.

Sleep, Laugh and Breathe – this is the message of the event for Mad March, when we'll explore how to stay sane and healthy at work by keeping control of our cortisol. Cortisol is the stress hormone and high levels can have a serious impact on our well-being. The potential damage to our hearts, immune systems, blood pressure, and emotional well-being are real and significant.  Most people in the workplace are under pressure - perhaps due to deadlines or performance expectations or excessive workloads - and these stresses have a detrimental effect on us. Learning how to balance and control our cortisol levels is key to a healthier and happier professional life.

With over twenty years experience, working in Asia, the United States and Europe, as a senior executive and director for a number of ASX listed and not for profit organisations in global leadership roles (e.g. General Electric, Coca Cola, Proctor and Gamble) Prof. Petrina Coventry is well versed with professional stress.  We are privileged she has agreed to share with us her lessons of a hectic life and the challenge of finding balance, control and the good life.
