Jane Dutton, the Robert L. Kahn Distinguished University Professor of Business Administration and Psychology, at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan received the 2016 Recognition for Leadership in Humanistic Management. Bestowing that honor, the Humanistic Management Network recognizes Jane Dutton's pioneering efforts to develop a positive organizational perspective in research and teaching aiming to bring out the best in people. The award was presented at the 2016 Academy of Management in Anaheim, CA.
The Leadership in Humanistic Management Recognition awards preeminent academics, practitioners, and policy makers who contribute to a "life-conducive" economic system in thought and action. Prior recipients include Henry Mintzberg, Roger Martin, Ed Freeman, Mary Gentile, Anil Gupta, Hans Kueng, Hunter Lovins, Sandra Waddock and Jeffrey Sachs as well as organizations such as SEMCO, DM, OECD Better Life, and UN PRME.
